Week #13
11th -  17th  October

iDowse

As you may have picked up by now we don’t make art that just sits on a wall. Our works cater to all the senses, sometimes even the ones science hasn’t fully understood yet. iDowse, is such a work.

This work is a mystery even to Kemi, who crafted it with his own hands. It may feel more at home on your mantelpiece than on a white wall. It is more for the hand, than the eye. It references cell towers and dowsing rods; interfaces with the unseen. It connects to your flesh to function. Although what results you’ll get from using it are undetermined.

iDowse (2016) wood, electronic components, paua shell. 438 x 115 x 42 mm
