Mantle
Our
love of Tin Can Glam isn’t something we
keep to ourselves. We’ve been working with tin cans since 2014, when we used
them to clad the sculptures of our Miniature Hikes project. While we had to
paint those walls, we wanted to create a work that presented the material in
its raw form and to full glam effect. Mantle (working title; Shed Wall) is a warm rustic work that combines elegant woodworking technique with satisfying architectural ratios. Mounted on a custom bracket that makes Mantle easily reversible depending on your tastes. Tin side has aged indoors for 12 months before being varnished to preserve unique patina.
